The Marlborough Science Academy St Albans is looking to employ a Midday Supervisor to join our successful and oversubscribed Academy for students aged 11-18. You would be supporting and supervising our students during the morning and lunchtime breaks. This is an important and busy role for an individual who can uphold the ethos and standards established within the Academy in a calm and professional manner. You will need to be a team player but also be able to work independently and show great flexibility. The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience of working in a school environment (although not essential), however they must be able to communicate effectively and liaise with students in a professional, empathic manner. You will be well supported amongst an established and friendly support staff team.
The school supports and promotes the safeguarding of children and is an equal opportunities employer. References will be sought prior to interview. This vacancy will be subject to an enhanced DBS check. Candidates will be required to provide evidence of the right to work in the UK. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974.
The closing date for applications is 30th July at 9.00am with interviews being held on the 1st August.
