About the role

We are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team.  Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with additional/special educational needs?  Do you have a keen interest and experience in supporting speech and language development in a nurturing primary school environment? 

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our inclusive and forward thinking team.  This is a non-class based role that focuses on supporting pupils with additional needs, including speech and language work and teaching phonics/reading so all children can thrive both academically and socially.

This position is term time only,  Monday to Thursday 9am to 3.15pm and Friday 9am to 1pm.  As part of this role you will be expected to provide lunchtime supervision. We require English and Maths qualifications to at least GCSE Grade C (or equivalent).

Please note that the salary scales show the pro-rata figure. This post is fixed term until 22nd July 2026.
