About the role

We are looking to appoint a dynamic and inspiring qualified teacher, to join our friendly Nursery team, September 2025.  This is a part-time position - five mornings per week, PPA time will be paid over and above this.  The vacancy is a permanent position.

Broom Barns is a popular one form entry school with an enthusiastic team who want the very best for the children.  In our last Ofsted (July 2023) we were graded ‘Good’.

The right candidate will have high expectations, be enthusiastic, creative, imaginative and will be an excellent communicator.  They will be committed to influencing and raising standards in teaching and learning and will have evidence of at least ‘good’ teaching.  We are looking for someone who can bring something fresh to our teaching team.  Previous experience in Early Years is preferred but more important is your passion for teaching and your desire to guide and support children to enable them to reach their full potential.

The school converted to Foundation Status in 2017 and is growing from strength to strength.  The head teacher and team of senior leaders are experienced, dedicated and passionate about providing excellent education to all learners, whilst ensuring support, dedicated PPA and leadership time and an achievable work-life balance for all staff.
