About the role
A rare opportunity has arisen for a part-time KS1 class teacher at Kingsway Infant School – a warm, friendly, nurturing and aspirational school. We are looking for a happy teacher who is looking to work with our motivated, friendly and inspirational team.

We are seeking to appoint a hard-working and inspirational job share KS1 class teacher who is passionate about education, and wants to make a difference, providing a positive learning experience for our children. Our ideal candidate will be nurturing, ambitious and dedicated about inspiring and supporting children to develop and learn in an inclusive environment. They must be able to use their own initiative and demonstrate a calm, patient and kind approach. The position is for a part-time (job share) KS1 Class Teacher on a fixed term contract until August 2026. There may be an opportunity for this contract to be extended. We would ideally like the position to start in November 2025, however we are happy to wait until January 2026 for the right candidate. We would welcome applications from experienced teachers or ECTs.

Kingsway Infant School is a two-form entry community school for children from 4 to 7 years of age. We have close links with the community as well as the link nursery and junior school.
