We are seeking to appoint a passionate and well qualified Prep Class Teacher to join the Prep teaching team at St. Francis` College.

Set in the midst of Letchworth Garden City, St. Francis' College has been providing a first-class education for girls for over 85 years, blending traditional values and a modern vision.

We are seeking to appoint a passionate and skilled Class Teacher who will work with the wider Prep team and College staff to ensure the safeguarding, child protection, wellbeing and pastoral care of all students is at the heart of all that we do.

We are looking for a Prep Class Teacher who is able to;
• Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of the Key stage 1 and 2 curriculum
• Inspire children with enthusiasm and a love of learning by delivering high quality learning that engages our children
• Prepare and plan for teaching, taking into account the requirements of children of all abilities
• Prepare and develop, teaching materials, teaching programmes, methods of teaching and assessment and pastoral arrangements.
• Provide feedback and guidance to pupils and their parents in an engaging way that encourages continuous learning at home

This role is a permanent part-time teaching position. The role is 0.6 FTE. We are looking for an enthusiastic teacher who will be able to excite our pupils and provide them with stimulating and thoughtful learning. Working with pupils in our prep school you must be able to excite and engage them about all areas of their education.

This role would suit experienced teachers or those starting out in their teaching career. The ability to offer science as a specialist area would be seen as an advantage but not essential.
