Pre-School Deputy Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to join our well-established early years setting. This role is ideal for a confident, qualified professional with strong leadership experience who is committed to delivering outstanding care and education for young children.

Working in partnership with the Nursery Manager, you will play a key role in leading practice across the setting, supporting staff performance, and ensuring the highest standards of safeguarding, learning and wellbeing are maintained.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting the overall management of the setting and day-to-day operations

• Leading high-quality practice in line with the EYFS and Ofsted requirements

• Supporting and mentoring staff to maintain excellent standards of care and learning

• Ensuring safeguarding, health and safety and policies are fully implemented

• Building strong, professional relationships with parents and external professionals

• Supporting curriculum planning and effective staff deployment

We are looking for someone who:

• Holds a minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above)

• Has proven experience in a Deputy Manager or senior leadership role within Early Years

• Has excellent knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding and Ofsted frameworks

• Is confident managing staff, routines and responsibilities

• Is professional, organised and child-focused

• Is committed to inclusive, high-quality practice
