School Administrator (Attendance and Sixth Form)

About the role

We are looking for an Administrator to provide administrative, attendance and pastoral support to our school's sixth form, and to support the whole school attendance team/students services. The role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. 

 Key responsibilities include:

  • Working together with our whole school attendance team        

  • Monitoring of Year 12 and 13 daily school and lesson attendance.

  • Contacting parents/carers to check/query student absence.

  • Accurate maintenance of student records on our school software (SIMS): Updating, interrogating and retrieving information as required.

  • Supervision of sixth form private study room.

  • Supporting specific students in maintaining their attendance and with organisation and pastoral matters.

  • Supporting in student services as required.

Previous experience within the sixth form/education sector is not essential, as training will be provided.

This post will be contracted for up to 37 hours per week, term time only. There may be some flexibility with regard to hours.
