School Business Manager

About the role

Are you an experienced business manager looking to make a difference in the education sector? We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic School Business Manager to join our admin team on a part-time basis for three days a week.

As the School Business Manager, you will be at the heart of our school, ensuring the smooth operation of financial, administrative and support functions. Your expertise will help us achieve our educational goals and provide the best possible outcomes for all our pupils and their families. 

The SBM role is a senior, professional role within the school. Reporting directly to the Headteacher, the SBM is expected to contribute significantly to the continuous improvement of the school through the management of finance, human resources, health & safety and supporting the administration team. The attached Job Description and Person Specification gives further information of the job requirements and expectations. The SBM will be required to attend termly governor meetings, which typically take place in the evening.
