As a valued member of our Executive Leadership Team, you will work alongside the Headteacher and senior leaders to provide strategic leadership across finance, human resources, premises, health and safety, compliance and operational management. This is far more than a support role. It is an opportunity to help shape the future direction, sustainability and success of our school.

At Holwell Primary School, we are proud to offer every child an inclusive, high-quality and ambitious education that removes barriers to achievement and enables all pupils to flourish. Our ethos is underpinned by our RICRAC values: Respect, Independence, Co-operation, Resilience, Aspiration and Courage, which are embedded throughout our curriculum and school culture.

  • Lead on human resources processes and workforce management.

  • Oversee premises, facilities and health and safety compliance.

  • Ensure effective operational and administrative systems across the school.

  • Support the Headteacher and Governors in delivering school improvement priorities.

  • Contribute to strategic decision-making as a member of the Executive Leadership Team.

  • Drive efficiency, sustainability and continuous improvement across all business functions.

About You

We are looking for an individual who:

  • Has strong experience in business, financial or operational management.

  • Demonstrates excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.

  • Is strategic, solution-focused and committed to continuous improvement.

  • Has the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

  • Shares our commitment to excellence and delivering the best possible outcomes for children.

  • Understands the importance of collaboration, integrity and positive relationships.

Previous experience within an educational setting would be advantageous, although applications from candidates with transferable leadership and business management skills are welcomed.
