About the role

Time for your next step as a School Business Professional?

We are looking to recruit a dynamic and organised School Business Manager (SBM) to become a valued member of our new Senior Leadership Team at St. Andrew’s C of E (VA) Primary School and Nursery.

St Andrew’s is a one form entry primary with Nursery in the historic market town of Hitchin. This is a popular and successful school, with lovely expansive grounds and our own swimming pool. The school was graded Outstanding by Ofsted in 2018 and excellent by SIAMS in 2019. We have strong links to our local church and regularly attend whole school services there. We are a welcoming and inclusive school, founded on well-established Christian values, where pupils and staff alike are supported and encouraged to develop to the best of their potential.

Our school is a place where everyone is included and valued. We are proud that our children enjoy coming to school and that they know their education and care are at the centre of everything they do.

With a focus on excellence, creative thinking and challenge, we nurture and celebrate individual talents and interests, emphasising high expectations and the importance of always trying one’s best in every situation.

We would love you to come and visit us and see our vibrant community and recognise how much you could influence and support our work. Whilst you are waiting to visit, take a quick look at our website. This will show what a wonderful setting this really is.
