About the role

The Bishop’s Stortford High School has an exciting opportunity for you.  We are seeking to appoint a hard-working and enthusiastic school caretaker to offer caretaking support to the site team ensuring security and general appearance of the buildings and surrounding areas are maintained to a high standard.

What we are looking for:

• Someone who can prioritise tasks and adapt accordingly
• Good practical DIY skills and problem solving
• Flexible approach to work to involve occasional evening and weekend work.
• A well-organised, proactive individual with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• An individual who works well with staff and students alike
• An understanding of school H&S systems and working in schools would be an advantage
• An individual with a full driving licence and their own transport to move between sites
