About the role

St. Michael's is a happy, friendly and highly successful Catholic Secondary School serving the community of South West Hertfordshire and is part of The Diocese of Westminster Academy Trust (DOWAT) one of the most successful Multi Academy Trusts in the country.

We are seeking to appoint a talented and ambitious Second in Department for Religious Education who can motivate and challenge students. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher looking to become a Head of Department within 2 years.

Applications are welcome from experienced teachers and ECT’s with the ability to teach Religious Education at KS3, KS4 and KS5. Candidates should be particularly passionate about working with young people and should be determined to make a positive difference to their lives providing the highest possible standards of teaching and learning for all students in the teaching of Religious Education.
