Breakspeare School is seeking an outstanding professional colleague to join our team. Following up from our last positive recruitment enrolment, we are reopening opportunities for a teacher to join our inspiring school community. This placement will be at our Bushey unit.
We are an outstanding provision providing education for children and young people with a wide range of special needs. As a big organisation we value all Teachers who have specialised skills in SEN, such as on Autism, complex behaviours or sensory needs. However, this is also a good opportunity for our mainstream colleagues who want to have an exciting chance to move to the SEN sector.
The main site for Breakspeare School is located in Abbots Langley; we have two classes at our Meadow Wood site in Bushey and we have a satellite unit co-locating with a primary school in West Watford for 6 additional classes.
This new role provides excellent opportunities to make significant contribution to our provision for children and young people with profound and multiple difficulties (PMLD) at our amazing school. A comprehensive training package and induction is provided.

Key Information for Applicants
This position is for SEN Class Teachers to start in Spring 2027 and is full time (however we would consider part-time if the candidate has exceptional teaching experience)
The salary will be MPS or UPS + 1-2 SEN points depending on experience

The Sunflower Federation was established in May 2017 and is formed of two schools namely Breakspeare and Meadow Wood. The Federation is governed by one governing board (one responsible body). The federated governing board manages all accountabilities and responsibilities for both school sites.
