About the role

We are seeking to recruit a SEN Learning Support Assistant, with lunch time duties, to work from 8.30 to 3.30pm Monday to Friday term time only with a September start. 

We are looking for a dedicated, patient and resilient member of support staff with experience of working with children with neurodiversity who presents with challenging behaviour. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate previous successes in supporting children to manage their behaviour, develop positive relationships and make progress.

You must be prepared to make a genuine commitment to working consistently with the child and to working closely with the school, family and other professionals. A positive, nurturing and solution-focused approach is essential, along with the ability to remain calm and supportive in challenging situations. You will support our ethos of caring and respecting children where adults show a passion and a real desire to make a difference to all children. 

This is a permanent position with a 3 month probation period.

The successful applicant will also be subject to enhanced DBS and barred list checks in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education.
