About the role
We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our inclusive and nurturing team at Commonswood Primary & Nursery School. This role is primarily focused on providing 1:1 support for pupils in EYFS with high levels of need, helping the children to access learning and develop independence. You will work with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver personalised learning activities
The role is fixed term.
We are looking for someone who:
Is patient, empathetic and committed to supporting children with additional needs
Has experience in supporting pupils with high levels of need
Can build strong, trusting relationships with children and staff
Works well as part of a supportive and friendly team
Is flexible, proactive and willing to learn
A minimum of GCSE grade C in Maths and English or equivalent is required. The TA role will be paid at H1/H2 depending on experience and the MSA role will be paid at HB1.
