About the role
Thank you for your interest in our school. We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking individual with high expectations, for themself and others, to join our school team as a SEN Teaching Assistant to work with SEN children on a 1:1 basis and to support small groups of children across the school.
The contract is fixed term, with no end date, until the children leave the school or until funding changes or ceases, whichever is the sooner. The role is available from September and the hours of work are:
We are looking for a teaching assistant who:
has knowledge of the primary curriculum,
has high expectations of achievement and behaviour,
has good numeracy and literacy skills (GCSE grade C or equivalent in English and Maths is desirable),
has experience of working with children with SEND (desirable),
can confidently communicate with parents, carers and class teachers; and
understands and embraces the school's ethos.

The hourly rate for the role is £13.26 and the approximate part-time annual salary is up to £16,865 pa.
