About the role

Are you nurturing and kind with a passion for making a difference?  We are looking for someone with an inclusive outlook to become part of our team, working closely with a child currently in our reception class.  Ideally the role is 8:45 to 3:15, Monday to Friday, term time only.  We would be happy to consider a job share if we had two suitable candidates who wished to work part-time.

Eastbury Farm is a diverse community school of 345 children (including our nursery).  We have beautiful and extensive grounds, including our own outdoor learning areas.  Our children are extremely well behaved, love learning and are at the heart of everything we do. We are looking for someone who first and foremost wants to be part of the learning team at Eastbury Farm.  You would be working within a supportive team, with relevant training to enable you to provide the best support to the individual child as well as to our teachers and other children in the class.   We value all our staff and work hard to make Eastbury Farm a happy place to work.

We warmly welcome prospective candidates to visit us and see our lovely school for yourself.  Please get in touch to arrange a mutually convenient time to visit.

The Governors and staff of Eastbury Farm are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and visitors to share this commitment. Appointment to this post is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check (DBS) as well as other pre-appointment checks, including an online check and social media check as outlined in Keeping Children Safe in Education (September 2023).

Candidates must ensure that all gaps in employment are accounted for when completing the application form - including unemployment, travelling and being at home to raise children.
