About the role
We are looking for an experienced Additional Support Needs Assistant to join our SEND team from September 2025.
This is a term time only post for 32.30 hours per week (8.30am-3.30pm), initially on a fixed term contract for the academic year. However, the position does have the potential to become permanent.
Working under the remit of our SENDCO, you will support a variety of pupils, either on a 1:1 basis or in a small group, plus lead interventions and support the SEND team on a daily basis. In addition, you will also be required to provide SEND lunchtime cover.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced SEND worker with good literacy and numeracy skills but who also has patience and enthusiasm and can make a positive contribution to school life and our pupil’s outcomes.
