Deliver and support a bespoke curriculum alongside individual learning targets.
Implement strategies and interventions recommended by external professionals (e.g. speech and language therapists, educational psychologists).
Work collaboratively with teachers and leaders to monitor progress and adapt provision.
Foster a positive, nurturing environment where every child feels valued and included.
The ideal candidate will:
Have experience working with children with SEND (this is strongly preferred but not essential).
Demonstrate patience, resilience, and a genuine passion for supporting children’s development.
Be flexible and responsive to individual pupil needs.
Be willing and able to implement specialist strategies and guidance from professionals.
Be committed to inclusive practice and high expectations for all learners.
What we offer:
The opportunity to support our youngest children at a crucial stage of their development.
A welcoming and inclusive school where every child is supported to succeed.
A newly developed Early Years learning environment with a wonderful outdoor area ideal for supporting children with sensory or communication needs
A sensory room which provides a space for regulation and relaxation for the children
Strong professional support from an excellent Early Years Lead and team, alongside our experienced Inclusion Lead.
Ongoing professional development and opportunities to grow your expertise in SEND provision.
This is a part-time position from 8.30 am to 3.30 pm - Monday to Friday, term-time only.
If you are passionate about making a difference and believe every child deserves the opportunity to succeed, we would love to hear from you. We strongly recommend that you come and visit the school before you apply.
