We are looking to appoint somebody who is proactive, positive and flexible to join the 'Applecroft Family' and be an important part of our Inclusion plans moving forward working closely with our Assistant Headteacher for Inclusion & Well-being and our pastoral team.

The role will include:

  • Liaising with teachers and outside agencies to ensure children are receiving the support they need to make progress,

  • Working with the SENDCo on referrals including gathering evidence,

  • Running interventions across the school including targeted language groups,

  • Supporting children with SEND across the school ensuring they have full access to a broad and balanced curriculum and are making progress.

Previous experience of working in Primary School setting supporting children with additional needs is essential along with a strong work ethic and the desire to make a difference to the pupils in our care. 

The post is for 32.5 hours per week, term-time only (8:15-3:30pm)
