The Welwyn & Hatfield Hub at Swallow Dell Primary School is seeking to appoint a Specialist Teaching Assistant to support primary-aged pupils with their social, emotional and mental health needs.
Our friendly and dedicated team are committed to providing pupils with the support that will enable them to thrive.
The Hub works in collaboration with Welwyn & Hatfield schools, providing short-term placements for primary-aged pupils in need of specialist intervention and support with their social, emotional and mental health needs.
Our aim is to help children to develop the strategies and skills that they need in order to successfully re-engage with the curriculum before transitioning back to their “home-school” mainstream setting.
This role provides an ideal opportunity for:
- High quality teaching assistants/HLTAs who have a passion for inclusion and SEMH
- Aspirational teaching assistants/HLTAs who are keen to develop specialist support skills and who will enjoy the prospect of progression.
