Hours:   32.5 hours per week, term time (8.30am-3.30pm) + INSET

 

Start Date: 1st September 2024

 

Buntingford First School is a net carbon zero, first school located in East Hertfordshire that opened in September 2023.  Due to school growth, we are seeking an enthusiastic and inspirational level 3 teaching assistant who has the experience and knowledge to support children in our Early Years setting.  This is an exciting opportunity to join the school in the second year of its journey. We have a fantastic team who are passionate about making sure every child is valued and can succeed.

 

The successful candidate will need to be enthusiastic, energetic and dedicated to making a difference to children's learning. You will need to enjoy working with children and be passionate and committed to helping children develop as independent and confident individuals. This role will help support pupils to access all aspects of learning and self-help skills. You will work closely with the class teacher, EYFS Leader and SLT.  

 

You will need to have a NVQ level 3 (appropriate to Early Years and a GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths (C or above) with a high standard of written and spoken English.
