Loreto St Albans is an 11-18 girls’ academy recognised by OFSTED as outstanding in all areas. With the support of our enthusiastic and accomplished staff our students achieve excellent results, and the Progress 8 performance measure has regularly placed Loreto in the top 4% of schools in the country. The school is oversubscribed and has earned an excellent reputation for discipline, pastoral care and academic standards.
For September 2024, we are looking to appoint a well-qualified and dynamic teacher of maths to join a well-established, effective and supportive department. The successful candidate will have a passion for the subject and will be required to teach across the whole ability and age range up to GCSE. Experience teaching A level would be an advantage although not essential.

The mathematics team consists of the Head of Department and eight specialist mathematics teachers. The maths department strives to be in the forefront of mathematics education, and we are ready to face the challenges of a constantly evolving curriculum. You would be joining a supportive team and have ample opportunities for CPD.
