Hitchin Boys’ School (HBS) is a high achieving, all ability, single sex school with over 1,300 students on roll.  In collaboration with our partner schools, we have a mixed sixth form.  Our history stretches back nearly 400 years, but we embrace fresh thinking and a modern, vibrant curriculum.  We have high expectations, excellent standards of behaviour and pride in our extra-curricular activities that lead to academically successful and well-rounded students, who are well equipped for life beyond school.

We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a talented, highly motivated, and ambitious Teacher of Media to join our high-performing school.  We are seeking to recruit someone who is inspiring, dynamic and has a love for the subject. 

Media Studies is a popular and academically successful department. Results at A-Level and GCSE are consistently impressive. We follow the Eduqas specification at A-Level, AQA at GCSE and have also recently established KS3 Media Studies rotations. You would be joining a supportive and established department who are excited to offer this opportunity to be an active part of the department's continued growth at Hitchin Boys’.
