About the role

We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and passionate teacher to our team!

If you are a teacher that is driven and motivated to ensure all pupils succeed, we want to hear from you. There is no need to read every page and document on our website to impress us (teachers are far too busy for that!) – simply arrange a visit to experience what we are about; and be yourself.

At Chamberbury we believe that it is by working TOGETHER that we can provide the best education for our pupils so that they become ‘Change makers.’  You will play a vital part in our continual, determined drive to make our school an even better place for our pupils to be successful.

We are a Therapeutic Thinking trained school, and this approach doesn’t stop at behaviour management, but threads through our culture. Schools are built on positive relationships and love and we foster a ‘give and take’ approach with our staff.

Subject coordination is part of the role (this could be English), and you will have the opportunity to develop a range of leadership skills in a school that is supportive of a positive work/life balance.

The successful candidate will:

Be enthusiastic, self-motivated and passionate about enabling every child to achieve.

Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and staff.

Driven to ensure academic results are positive and improving.

A team player who inspires others.

Creates a positive learning environment for all.

In return you can expect:

Supportive parents, staff and community who work together.

Commitment to your professional development.

Release time for subject leadership.

Freedom to make suggestions (and be listened to).

A supportive, caring team.

Chambersbury Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Appointment to this post is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check as well as other pre-appointment checks outlined in Keeping Children Safe in Education (2024) and online check. To help us meet our high standards and aspirations of a fully diverse and inclusive workplace, we strongly encourage suitably qualified applicants from all backgrounds to apply and join us.

Prospective candidates are encouraged to submit their application as soon as possible, as we reserve the right to withdraw this vacancy before the advertised closing date if a suitable candidate is appointed.

Did you notice we didn’t mention OFSTED? Our pupils are our focus!
