About the role
A rare opportunity has arisen for an EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our team from January 2025 (after the Christmas break) on a maternity cover contract, running until October half-term 2026.

In this role, you will spend the mornings supporting children in our SEN Provision, The Cocoon, and the afternoons working in one of our wonderful Reception classes, where you will be supported and nurtured by experienced practitioners. Our children are well-behaved, love to learn, and inspire us every single day.
Key details:
- Opportunities to take on additional paid hours in Breakfast Club (beginning at 7:30am) may be available.
Essential criteria:
- Experience of working within SEN and EYFS settings.
- A nurturing and caring approach to supporting infant children.
- A solution-focussed, resilient attitude with the ability to adapt and stay positive.
- A relevant Level 2 or Level 3 NVQ qualification (or equivalent).
- Passionate about working with infant-aged children, as we are an infant-only provision.
Hours of work will be 8.30-3.30 Monday to Friday with a 30 minute lunch.
