About the role

Camp is an inclusive and friendly school where the children are at the heart of everything we do.  We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our fantastic team of support staff.  The role is to work initially in one of our Phase 2 classrooms (Years 4 – 6) at school, although we may be able to offer some flexibility over this. We are looking for someone to work every morning and a lunch duty. This part-time post offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the learning journey of our children.  

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday: 8.30 am to 1:00 pm

Salary: Salary will be paid on the H2 scale, £25,614 - £26,427 pro-rata

Initially, this position is offered on a fixed term contract for this academic year, with the possibility of extension based on the needs of the school and pupil.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

·         Have experience working as a Teaching Assistant in school.

·         Be enthusiastic, motivated, flexible, and empathetic.

·         Demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

·         Be caring and patient, with a passion for supporting children in their learning.

·         Possess an understanding of the unique needs of pupils with SEND.

·         Be eager to take part in further training and professional development.
