About the role

Redbourn Park is growing quickly and we're seeking passionate Teaching Assistants to join our driven and energetic team. Working in small groups of just 4-6 students, you'll play a vital role in supporting our children's educational journey. Our teaching follows a primary style across all age groups, with 1-2 Teaching Assistants per class working alongside teachers and specialist therapeutic staff. While we focus on meeting individual needs, we maintain high aspirations for every child, delivering the full national curriculum in an adapted, supportive way.

As a Teaching Assistant, you'll be part of a close-knit team, working with approximately 12 students and 8-10 staff on site. This excellent staff-to-student ratio allows you to build meaningful relationships with our students and provide the individual attention they need to thrive.

Our students have autism as their primary need, alongside other complex needs. They are capable learners who have often experienced difficulties in previous educational settings. You'll support students with anxiety and demand avoidance, making a real difference in helping them rebuild their confidence and love for learning. Every child's journey is unique, and your role will be crucial in providing the care, understanding, and support they need.

Since opening in 2021, we've expanded to a second site, with exciting plans for a third location.
