We are looking for an enthusiastic and engaging Teaching Assistant to be part of a team in a KS1 Class, supporting children within the class with SEND.
The ideal candididate will be intuitive, pro-active, kind and collaborative in their approach to supporting children. We want staff who will help all of our children to feel safe and valued within our small, friendly and supportive school community.
We would like employment to commence as soon as possible, however we could consider a September start for the right candidate.
At Flamstead Village School we aim to bring out the best in our children, both academically and socially.
We are an inclusive school and support all children, regardless of their starting points and their needs. Experience of working with neurodiverse children is desirable but by no means essential.
The post is a permanent and will be between the hours of 8.45am and 3.15pm daily.
There would also be an opportunity to take on a lunchtime role as an MSA from 12 -1pm if this was desirable to the candidate.
Working in Flamstead Village School, you will be a valued part of the school community. The school actively encourages developing CPD and the SENCO will offer coaching and training opportunities to any successful applicant.
Visits to the school are warmly welcomed and would be encouraged.
