About the role

We are excited to have the opportunity to add to our team of Teaching Assistants at Norton St Nicholas School in September 2025. We are appointing for one permanent role and one fixed-term role (one year with the possibility to extend based on our ongoing funding situation), term time only.

Due to the skills and adaptability of our current staff team, there is flexibility within these new roles:

  • Depending on skills and experience, the roles could be in Early Years, KS1 or KS2.
  • The roles will be for 27.5 hours across 5 days, although we would be willing to be flexible for the right candidate(s). Please make clear your preference in your application and there will then be an opportunity to discuss this further at interview.

The roles will involve supporting in an Early Years, key stage one or key stage 2 class. We are looking for someone who will nurture, inspire and motivate our children to achieve their full potential.
