About the role
We are keen to recruit an enthusiastic, flexible, reliable and suitably experienced person to join our dedicated and professional staff. We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who is committed to supporting children's learning and progress. The successful applicant will be required to work alongside the class teacher to support teaching and learning opportunities for all pupils, as well as carry out the agreed duties of a TA and MSA (Midday Supervisory Assistant).
As a Teaching Assistant you will be expected to build successful, positive relationships with pupils, supporting the class teacher to maintain a secure, challenging and stimulating learning environment. The candidate will ideally have experience of working in school, preferably alongside children with SEND. The candidate will also support our children at lunchtime as an MSA.
The working hours are from 8:40am to 1:00 pm Monday to Friday, term time only. You will be an integral part of a friendly and committed team of teachers, reaching assistants and practitioners and you must be able to work using your own initiative. All applicants should have a Maths and English GCSE grade C (4 or 5 pass) or above or the equivalent.
