About the role
Garden Fields Primary school is a part of the Alban Academies Trust in St Albans and is a large, thriving school where staff work together to provide children with the best outcomes.
We are looking to appoint a friendly, caring, capable Teaching Assistant to join our hardworking team. The successful candidate will support children's learning both in and out of the classroom, as individuals or within small groups.
Candidates will need to be confident in all aspects of the teaching assistant role, have a caring and nurturing approach to understanding the needs of children and excellent communication. Literacy and numeracy skills are required.
The post is a fixed term contract for 1 academic year. The post is a full-time, term time only contract 8.40am-3.15pm with 30 minute unpaid lunch break.
