Parkgate Junior School is seeking an enthusiastic, caring and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and committed team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about supporting children's learning and development and who can help create a positive, inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
Work closely with teachers to support learning in the classroom.
Support individual pupils and small groups to help them achieve their full potential.
Assist children with a range of learning and emotional needs.
Promote positive behaviour and encourage independence.
Help prepare resources and support engaging learning activities.
Contribute to the wider life of the school, including playground supervision and school events.
The role is for 5 afternoons per week, 12pm to 3:20pm , term time only. This role will include playground supervision at lunch time.
