About the role
We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated full time Teaching Assistant, with lunchtime duties as soon as possible. Hours will be from 8.30am to 3.30pm Monday to Friday, term time only
This is a permanent position with a 3 month probation period.
We are looking for a dedicated, patient and resilient member of support staff with experience of working with children. An understanding of the EYFS and KS1 curriculum would be an advantage but not essential. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate previous successes in supporting children to manage their behaviour, develop positive relationships and make progress.
Our teaching assistants work closely with the class teacher and other members of staff; it is therefore essential that you can work both independently and effectively as part of our dedicated and supportive team. As you will be supporting children to improve their reading, writing and maths abilities, you should have a good level of personal spoken and written English and maths.
Visits to the school are warmly welcomed and encouraged.
