  • Strong relationships with all our children;
  • Opportunities for ongoing professional development and training;
  • A genuine commitment to a realistic work/life balance;
  • A Governing Body supportive of the school’s desire to attain the highest standards in all areas of development.

The successful candidates will need to:

  • Be eager and passionate about helping children to achieve the best outcomes;
  • Be a team player;
  • Have strong communication skills to liaise with staff and parents;
  • Have good record-keeping skills;
  • Support the Christian values and ethos of our wonderful school.

St Nicholas school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. Appointment to this post is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check as well as other pre-appointment checks outlined in Keeping Children Safe in Education (September 2023).  Please ensure that your application form contains the names, addresses, mobile number and email addresses for your references and indicate if we can take up references prior to interview.

Please note we may interview as soon as applications are shortlisted so please do not delay in applying.  The advert will close once the position is filled.
