You’ll work closely with pupils who have a range of Special Educational Needs including Learning Difficulties, Autism, Speech, Language & Communication, & Behavioural Needs. You will support them under the guidance of our experienced and nurturing teaching staff.We pride ourselves on being a warm and welcoming school, where mutual respect underpins everything we do. No experience in SEN or as a Teaching Assistant?

Knowledge & Experience
A good standard of education particularly in English and Mathematics
Knowledge of the legal and organisational requirements for maintaining the health, safety and security of yourself and others in the learning environment
Knowledge of SEN Code of Practice (desirable but not essential as full training will be given)
Experience of supporting children in a classroom environment
Experience of using Information Technology to support pupils in the classroom
