Roman Way Academy is looking for enthusiastic and committed individuals to join our Local Governing Body (LGB) as Community Governors.
This is a rewarding volunteer opportunity to help shape the future of our school and ensure every child receives the very best education.

💼 What Will You Do?
As a Community Governor, you will:
✅ Support the school in providing an excellent education for all pupils
✅ Monitor pupil progress and outcomes
✅ Help ensure school resources are used effectively
✅ Attend Local Governing Body meetings
✅ Take part in school visits to support governance and school improvement
📋 Key Information
Role – Community Governor – Volunteer
Term of Appointment – 4 years
DBS Check – Provided by the Trust
Training and support – Full induction and ongoing training provided
Meetings – Three formal meetings a year
