Y4 Class Teacher Part time

About the role

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic teacher to join our KS2 team, on a part time basis. The role will be class-based for 0.6 (3 days a week)

At Abbots Langley School, we are a friendly and supportive team. Visitors often comment on how welcoming the school feels. We offer release time for important family events, such as children's assemblies, Christmas plays and Sports Day. Wellbeing is at the heart of our school community and we have an excellent staff well-being package.

As we are approaching the half term break, we are happy to offer visits to the school during half term next week. This is a good opportunity to see the school and to meet me as the Headteacher so we can discuss how we work together.

We are a two form entry school. Teachers work collaboratively in year groups to plan lessons. Teachers are supported in their teams by Key Stage Leaders as well as the Senior Leadership Team.

We seek out opportunities for CPD with all of our staff.  We have large school grounds, including a forest area and a Daily Mile track.  As a school we promote the Growth Mindset and use MindUP across all classes to ensure our pupils' wellbeing. We offer dedicated release time for subject and phase leaders.
