Meet Deputy Exams Officer, Stephanie

Meet Stephanie, a Deputy Exams Officer who has led a varied career. 

Please can you describe your journey into working in education?

I started off in a private nursery. Then moved into a pre-school, which was followed by primary infants and then juniors as a TA. I progressed to SpLD and then to a PP mentor and finally to a Deputy Exams Officer.

I qualified by going to college and then onto University. The key steps I took were to gain experience and qualifications.

What are the key things you love most about your job? 

The key things I love about my job are the people I work with and the variety in my job.

What advice would you give to someone who is looking to work in a similar role? 

Make sure you can multitask, have lots of patience and keep fit!
