Our Key Partnerships
Working alongside Alban Teaching School Hub to support professional development opportunities across the region, covering Dacorum, Hertsmere, St Albans, Three Rivers, Watford, Welwyn Hatfield. We attend their networking events and support them by promoting their opportunities at Career events. This relationship helps ensure we are aligned with current training pathways for anyone who seeks a career in Education
Chiltern Teaching School Hub is the Appropriate Body for Hertfordshire (East & North, covering Broxbourne, East Hertfordshire, Luton, North Hertfordshire, Stevenage. We regularly connect with Chiltern Teaching School Hub to promote entry routes into teaching and raise awareness of their training opportunities at career events. Teach in Herts participates in their events and shares key information with our candidate network. Our collaboration strengthens outreach and supports schools in attracting talent.
We work closely with the Hertfordshire Opportunities Portal (HOP) to promote teaching as a career path to young people and career changers. By attending careers events and having a presence on their website, we help raise awareness of teaching roles in the County. Our shared mission is to ensure that education remains visible as a valuable and accessible profession.
Step2Skills support adults in finding their future role in education. We attend their events aimed at adults returning to work or with additional needs and support learners interested in transitioning into school roles. Together, we highlight opportunities for upskilling and accessing school-based careers.
Through our connection with Educational and Sporting Futures, we support the promotion of teaching careers through sport and mentoring. This collaboration helps introduce alternative pathways into the classroom, especially for those with a passion for coaching and youth work..
Teach in Herts connects with Oaklands College to share progression pathways from vocational training to school-based employment. We attend student and careers fairs to highlight local teaching and support vacancies. Together, we encourage young people to consider education as a meaningful and impactful career choice.
We support the University of Hertfordshire by contributing to recruitment events, working together with the local Teaching hubs and providing insight into the local job market. We support PGCE and education students by promoting ECT roles available in Hertfordshire schools. Our collaboration ensures that emerging teachers have direct access to career opportunities within the county.
Reed in Partnership - Restart Scheme 
We engage with Reed in Partnership through their Restart scheme and employment programmes. Teach in Herts provides information and inspiration for participants interested in exploring careers in education. Our collaboration supports reintegration into the workforce through school-based roles and training options. We offer advice and guidance when attending the Reed in Partnership events.
Job Centres in Hertfordshire 
In collaboration with local Job Centres across Hertfordshire, we help inform jobseekers about opportunities in schools. We provide resources and attend careers sessions to highlight teaching assistant and support roles. We also offer guidance in support sessions for those who need help completing their Teach in Herts application form. These efforts help increase awareness of accessible entry points into careers in educatiom.
