Description

Lordship Farm School is a popular and successful, large primary school on the south eastern edge of Letchworth. We have recently been inspected and Ofsted found us to be a good school with outstanding behaviour and safety of the children. Our children are well motivated, eager to learn and their behaviour is exemplary. Our staff are friendly, supportive, hardworking and dedicated to providing the best for our children. Our staff demonstrate a 'can do' attitude. We work closely with our parents who are very supportive of the school and enjoy our 'open door' policy. The school expanded to become a two-form entry school in September 2013, with two brand new purpose built classrooms. We have spacious 'open plan' classrooms with interactive whiteboards, an ICT suite and a class set of ipads, separate dining hall and extensive grounds. We believe in educating the 'whole child' and offer a wide range of music, sports and arts activities as well excellent inclusive education. We actively work to develop our children's skills as learners through the use of the principles of 'Building Learning Power'. The school is committed to Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
