The Collett School

Special Dacorum Borough

The Collett School is an all-age school for 120 pupils aged 4-16 who have complex learning difficulties, including autism, speech and language difficulties. All pupils have a Statement or EHC Plan. Across the school, our pupils are taught in dynamic Learning Groups that are based loosely on ability levels. Teachers and TAs work across the school over time. Our exciting developments in this, our 50th year mean that this is an ideal time to join the school; treehouse classrooms, exciting and informal learning spaces, lots of innovative working and recognition for this! The vision of the school highlights our daily practice of supporting children to access our mainstream world with advancing confidence - hence we believe in creating opportunities that ensure our children shine! We are an Ofsted 'Good' school, stridently on our way to becoming 'Outstanding'. We are an oversubscribed, hardworking happy school! Please have a look at our website: for further information about our ethos and what's happening! We look forward to meeting you.
