The Collett School "Special Educational Needs"

Special Dacorum Borough

The Collett School is an all-age school for 120 pupils aged 4-16 who have complex learning difficulties, including autism, speech and language communication needs and/ or moderate learning disabilities. All pupils have an EHC Plan (or statement of special educational needs). Across the school, our pupils are taught in dynamic Learning Groups that are based on ability levels and communication needs. Teachers and TAs work with all age groups over time. Our exciting developments include treehouse classrooms, informal learning spaces, lots of innovative practices and holistic approaches to the individual child.  The vision of the school highlights our daily practice of supporting children to access our mainstream world with advancing confidence - hence we believe in creating opportunities that ensure our children shine! We are an Ofsted 'Good' school, stridently on our way to becoming 'Outstanding'. We are an oversubscribed, hardworking, happy school! Please have a look at our website: for further information about our ethos and what's happening! We look forward to meeting you.
