About the role
Trotts Hill are looking to appoint somebody who is proactive, positive and flexible to work with a child with additional needs on a 1:1 basis in EYFS. Experience of supporting a child with SEND and develomental needs is required. Knowledge of makaton or a willingness to learn to support the child would be an advantage. You will be based within a classroom and will be supporting the child to access the curriculum at their level and will be supported by the Inclusion Manager.

We are looking for someone from September in the first instance. The position is offered on a temporary contract and is attached to the child and funding
This role is 17.5 hours per week with the option of an additional 5 hours as a member of the play team and extended afternoon hour for the right candiate. Full training would be provided. We are a platinum OPAL school and are in the top 1% of the country for our play offer.
It is essential that candidates have a desire to make a difference and have a high standard of spoken English.
