About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our brand new school-run Redbourn Childcare Club from its inception in September 2025.
We wish to appoint two After School Club Assistants for 5 days per week from 3:00pm until 6:30pm, term time only. 1-5 days per week can be considered. You will work alongside other assistants and the manager. The school could be prepared to offer subsidised places at the club for Redbourn Primary School pupils (Reception to Year 6) if a parent is appointed.
The salary will be H3 (£13.05 ph) to reflect the qualifications and experience we are seeking. There is the opportunity for additional hours as an Learning Support Assistant at H2/H3 should this be of interest.
We are looking for someone who enjoys working with primary aged children, shows confidence, understanding and has the ability to remain calm at all times.
We are a positive and well-motivated team and the children are at the heart of all we do. We were graded Good by ofsted in all areas in March 2025. Prior experience of working with children is desirable. Training will be provided.
