Woodfield School in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, is looking for an Assistant Headteacher (AHT) to join our strong and supportive leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity to shape and lead the strategic direction of curriculum and assessment across our school, supporting pupils aged 3–19 with severe learning difficulties and complex needs. 
We are proud of our personalised, destination-led curriculum and are seeking a leader with the vision, passion and resilience to take it to the next stage. You will have the skills to inspire staff, develop effective assessment strategies and ensure that our curriculum empowers every pupil to flourish and achieve.
This role is class based and comes with generous time out of class to allow you to focus on whole-school leadership, development and impact.

Our dedicated team works collaboratively to ensure pupils, staff, parents and governors feel valued and supported. As AHT, you will be visible, approachable, and fully involved in the life of our school – building strong relationships and fostering a culture of fun, laughter and achievement.
