DESIGN TECHNOLOGY TECHNICIAN

30 hours per week – Term Time Only

FTE Salary H4 Point 6 – H4 Point 9 (£26,196-£27,422) + Fringe

Actual Salary £17,760-£18,591

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and committed Technician, to support our busy and friendly Technology department at Goffs Churchgate Academy. The successful applicant will support the teaching and learning of Technology by ensuring that all practical, demonstration, and assessment activities are met safely. You should be flexible and organised, and have the ability to work independently. Relevant technical and practical experience of using workshop machinery and the ability to demonstrate their safe use is essential, along with experience of working in an educational department.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:

  • The ability to provide support to students from Year 7 through to Year 11
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Evidence through DBS check and recruitment process of their suitability for working with children
