About the role
The Grove Infant and Nursery School, judged 'Outstanding in all Areas' by Ofsted in November 2023, are keen to appoint an enthusiastic, positive and flexible Early Years Practitioner to join our Nursery team from September.
We are looking for someone who is reliable, self-motivated, conscientious and well organised. Experience of working in EYFS and Key Stage 1 would be highly desirable.
The successful applicant will join a caring and committed staff team who create an inclusive, happy and successful learning environment for our children. We have a large, bright, cheerful Nursery setting classroom where our pupils enjoy their learning. Every child and adult is valued at our school, and we provide good opportunities for CPD.
The Nursery sessions run from 8.30 am - 11.30am and 12.30 pm - 3.30 pm, but full time staff are paid for 37 hours per week, and the role includes, setting up, assessing progress, attending training, staff meetings and some school Inset days.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff to share this commitment. Successful applicants will be subject to enhanced clearance with the Disclosure and Barring Service.
