About the role
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, energetic and caring Early Years Practitioner. Every day will be different and you will be able to make a difference. You need to be willing to work closely with the class teacher, SENCo, external professionals and parents to adapt planning to suit the specific needs of the children. A calm, patient manner is essential, and experience of supporting children with Special Educational Needs and / or Disabilities (SEND) including autism would be a distinct advantage.
Central Primary is the sort of school that captures your heart on your first visit and we can offer you:
- Enthusiastic and energetic pupils;
- Supportive leadership and peers;
- A passion and space for all curriculum subjects;
- A beautiful, well-equipped Victorian building;
- A caring and committed community;
- A commitment to staff learning and development.
In return we can offer you a friendly, happy environment with children who love to learn. We support staff with their professional development, broadening their skills and knowledge. Staff and children’s wellbeing is crucial and a key focus of the school. Central Primary School is committed to safeguarding children and all staff at the school undergo rigorous pre-employment checks. All applicants invited to interview will be expected to complete a Disclosing and Barring Scheme (DBS) form and other necessary checks before commencing their employment at the school.
You would be more than welcome to visit the school and learn more about us.
