About the role

Are you an organised, friendly, approachable and detail-oriented individual with a background in finance or administration? Holtsmere End Infant School is looking for a dedicated Part-Time Finance Administrator to join our nurturing and caring school.

Working in the main school office 8.30-12.30 Monday to Friday your key responsibilities will be:

  • Processing payments and managing the school’s day-to-day finances with the support of HFL Finance 
  • Monitoring staff absences and managing timesheets
  • Maintaining pupil and lunch registers and ensuring data accuracy
  • Greeting parents, children and visitors with a warm and professional approach
  • Providing general administrative support to the Headteacher and school office

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience in finance or school administration (preferred)
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
  • A friendly, welcoming manner and a genuine interest in working in a school environment
  • Proficiency in using administrative software such as ARBOR Finance (or similar), EXCEL and Microsoft Office applications
