About the role
We are seeking to appoint a dynamic, enthusiastic and engaging games teacher/coach to contribute to our outstanding sports programme. Experience of coaching/teaching and playing netball to a high and competitive level is essential for this role.
Reporting to the Director of Sport and Head of Girls’ Games, you would coach pupils from ages 4 to 13, delivering sessions that both nurture beginners and challenge our top performing athletes. This role requires a coach/teacher with technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a passion for working with young people under the leadership of our Head of Girls' Games.

Our diverse programme of sports activities develops pupils’ confidence and resilience through physical, technical and mental stimulus, and exposure to teamwork and leadership opportunities. Every child has the chance to represent the school and regularly has the opportunity to compete, with many children going on to achieve success at both county and national level. In recent years we have enjoyed regional and national success in wide variety of sports including hockey, football, rugby, cricket, swimming and athletics. In the academic year 2025/26 we were national champions across several age groups for netball, showing a particularly high level of performance.
Our extensive facilities include several grass pitches, an indoor swimming pool, an all-weather Astro court, netball courts, spacious sports hall, dance studio, fitness suite, cricket nets and pavilion. We also look to regularly take pupils on national and international sports tours.
